My Blab --- once again D=

i'm sorry D= i really neglected this blog for so long....
yes i know i haven't updated and now when i come back to the blog i talk trash....
right now i really can't update hopefully it's because i'm so lazy and not because i'm about to give up once again....
y can't life be sometimes like tvb dramas?
once you work hard you'll get the reward for all that you've given out?
i'm just really upset and tired of trying to reach up higher and not getting a result at all
i don't have to be fully successful, i just want to at least improve? is that wrong?
life is just so tough.... hopefully i can really succeed
i really sorry for writing this here, and sorry if this ruins your mood. i just really had to get those words outta me.

right now i feel little better =D hopefully i'll get back into the mood of updating soon....

To see a new face.

Okay, every now and then TVB would promote new artistes and I've seen quite a lot myself too. Even if you just read the newspaper, there are always one or two new artisites from TVB. The newcomers I always read news from are probably Suki Tsui and Fala Chan. Is it just me or do the newspaper really do pay more attention to female newcomers than male newcomers???

umm... what do you guys think?

Okay I'm starting to get off topic... okay... I just wanted to tell you guys that every year TVB brings in a whole lot of new faces onto our tv screens. Every1 has different taste in the series they watch and sometimes people base it on the actors and actresses in the series, which means the type of newcomers in TVB series might really shake things up in a series. Just like Heart of Greed, I personally LOVE Heart of Greed because for starters it's a extremely great series... great plot and stuff. 2nd of all I loved their cast. There was people that I've watched or heard of before and not some artist that I have zero clue of who they are.

So what kinds of artists do you guys perfer??? --- hopefully you guys are gonna to tell me on the SHOUT-OUTZ BOX : )

Right now I really want TVB to ask Kary Ng from the girl group Cookies to film a series because I see so much potential in her. For those of you who don't know her she's a singer in a girl group called Cookies which had 9 girls in it. Then they split up and 4 of the members regrouped and became the Mini Cookies. Which included Stephy Tang, Miki Yeung, Teresa Fu and Kary Ng. But then Kary decided to change a little and she went into a rock band called Ping Pung. And I think this year or last year she started to sing on her own and became a solo artist.

Right now many of her songs are good, such as: 山歌, 逼得太緊, Control, 座右銘, 馬戲團之戀, 句句我愛你, 愛你變成恨你, 明知做戲 and 愛是最大權利. ---- if you guys have time really listen to these songs, she really has a nice voice and the songs are great too!

Kary has also participated in a movie called Love @ First Note. I think she did really well in the movie too! I really hope she gets a hand on TVB series too!

Short... (okay kinda long) Pause on the Miss HK Critique

First of all I really want to apologize that I haven't updated much for a long while... I'm feeling very guilty about this too... I'm back from vacation for a week already but I was just being lazy.... ^^

Miss HK Fasion Critique Part1

HELLO EVERYONE! Finally I'm back (almost) : p lolhahaha anyways felt bad for not updating for a while so I decided to update :D Couldn't think of anything to update by was looking through videos on Youtube and saw something about MHK so I decided to talk about this year's MHK fashion!

First of all, this year's MHK was divided into 4 parts. So the clothes I'm talking about are from each of the four parts :D That was kinda confusing XD

Fashion Show...

Woah! This year's fashion show part of the MHK was really... ummm...interesting...?The fashion show was also divided into 4 parts. The first part looked liked future clothing, the second part had a foresty feel, the 3rd part was like a toyland feel and the last part was really feathery. This year's fashion show really reminded me of the 20th century dresses (actually it's the thing that puffs up the dress ---- don't know what it's call...) anyways. The dresses was more future like and really exaggerated the bottom of the contestants.

I think this dress would represent most of what I'm trying to describe about the dresses.

My Favorite

I think this oufit is really cute and hip looking :D haha really like the hood that holds the hair.

Miss HK Results!!!

HAHA! I actually okay with the results for the Miss HK pageant :D lol but I didn't want #2 to win because she had so much going on with the press and stuff saying she's treated differently than other contestants but that's what the press said. Really happy that #7 got into top 3! Hopefully she'll be a great actress in TVB or sing more songs :D

I actually didn't think #9 was going to win until the contest day, her performance was excellent that day, she really stood out from the rest of the contestants and she looked really pretty on screen too.

For the First place winner, the first time I saw her on the newspaper, the press said that she didnt' stand out and I thought she was okay and wasn't that bad. I really liked her question and answer part she seemed like she was really calm maybe participating in a pageant twice really helps : ]

For this years pageant I happy with the results :D

Miss HK My Predictions

WA! I'm so excited for today's Miss Hong Kong Pageant :D hopefully I can watch it. My predictions for the top three are #7, #12 and #6. I think #7 will probably get into the top three because TVB once selected her for the Most Stylish in a singing competition. They wanted to sign her to their mangement but she wanted to continue her studies. This would probably be TVB's chance to sign her. I think she looks pretty nice too. #12 is selected to win a couple of awards in the Miss HK Beauties site so I think she has a large chance, she looks kinda sweet but everything depends on that days performance. #7 has this look that makes me think she will win something in the Miss HK but I don't know... Oh! and I'm sure many of you will be "why didn't you pick #2 for any awards?" I think she looks okay but she had too much rumors. OKAY! byebye

Hiatus...

I'm going to be on vacation for the next few weeks so there will be least updates :[ maybe 1-2 updates? idunno.... lol I'll try to do some on my laptop but that depends on how tired I am ;D and yeah, just to clarify in case some people might think I'm leaving this blog... on the sidenote, I love doing this blog thing :D Hope you guys enjoy reading my post too :D okay gotta pack.... Celebrity Fashion !!!

I always wanted to be a fashion designer or some sort of designer :] so I decided to write a critique on celebrity fashion :D hope you like it! If you have any suggestions plz give me some feedback :D

I like this outfit that Niki is wearing there but I think it's a bit too plain. Her outfit is too dark and doesn't have an accessory to brighten her appearance. Especially her shoes and her stockings, from far it would seem like she's not wearing shoes. But maybe she was lazy to pick something out that day. Overall it's a nice outfit but just needs something to brighten it up :]

I would rate this outfit 7.5/10

I don't know why but I just love guys who wear polos, and Raymond's wearing one! haha he looks cute in that. I just don't like the green logo? thing on his right shoulder kind of too much going on in his shirt. But Raymond looks good in casual and suits :D

I would give Raymond 7.5/10

Raymond looks so cute in this picture. I just didn't like his hairstyle there. I usually don't like guys who wear small ties but he totally changed my opinion on this one :D Too bad I can't see his pants and shoes in that picture : [ anyways I think for guys they shouldn't wear clothes that are too patterny and full of different colours. So I think his top half of his outfit is pretty good. And his white tie is just what he needed to brighten his appearance here :D
I would give him 8/10 cause I can't see his pants and shoes :[

Haha the first thing I noticed about this picture is that Tavia's shirt matches her hair :D I think this outfit is pretty cute and feminine at the same time. Tavia's shirt looks good and matching with her hair and white is an easy colour to match so the greyish vest looks nice with it. One thing I didn't like is her belt because there's too much metal dots ( that sticks out ). Those belts are just really not a thing for me.

I would give her a 8/10

Future TVB Fa Dans Part 2

haha finally decided to continue the part 2 of the Future TVB Fa Dans :D YAY! I'm done :]

Kenix Kwok-> Selena Li

I think Kenix is a talented actress. And after I watched some series with Selena Li in it, I thought she was good for a newcomer. Kenix didn't win the Miss HK Pageant but she is still a very promoted actress in TVB, if you guys still remember Selena was also a Miss HK in 2003. She wasn't crowned but she won the Photogenic award and TVB signed her. She is also quite promoted as well. So I think Selena Li will be working her way up to a decent spot in TVB.

Esther Kwan -> Niki Chow

I really think Niki Chow would be a Fa Dan in TVB because Niki won the Most Improved Actress award in TVB, but I was disappointed when they announced the cast for The Gentle Crackdown 2. Niki could have been busy though. Esther is known for having good ratings when her series airs and the series that has Niki usually gets pretty decent ratings. Also both these actresses is known for being humourous so I think Esther's successor would be Niki.

Gigi Lai -> Sharon Chan

I think Sharon Chan would be a great successor to Gigi Lai because I think Gigi is known for being beautiful and I think Sharon is a really beautiful girl as well. When you watch Gigi in series she really stands out and so does Sharon. They are both very photogenic and Gigi has a nice figure and so does Sharon because Sharon is really tall and she has very long legs.

Jessica Hsuan -> Myolie Wu

I always thought Jessica's successor should be funny, beautiful and have excellent acting skills. One of the actresses I know who have these criterias is Myolie. She's a funny girl on and off screen just like in War of In-Laws. She was a Miss HK so she's pretty. She has been in the industry for quite a long time already so her acting abilities are great too. I always thought these two were very similar because she would always be happy to see them in series. I wonder if they have been in the same series before? hmmmm.....

Charmaine Sheh -> Bernice Liu

I think Charmaine has a sweet look and so does Bernice. They both participated in pageants before they entered the entertainment industry. Charmaine is known for her popularity and fan base, Bernice also has a large fan base too. But Bernice right now doesn't seem to have been in many series and I haven't seen her in TVB dramas for a while D:

The Future TVB Fa Dans Part 1

I seen a lot of blogs do this topic already but I still wanted to do my own version cause I have a different opinion on the future fa dans of TVB. My version is by how much they look a like and their similarities. You can also disagree with my thoughts but please leave a comment on what you think :]

Flora Chan <--- Linda Chung

I think Flora and Linda have a lot in common they're both from outside of Hong Kong. I think for some reason in Heart of Greed Linda's character as a lawyer reminded me of a role that Flora played a long time ago. Also I think both of them look shy and quiet. They look like the good student type.

Ada Choi <--- Leila Tong

Ada Choi is one of my favorite actress, I think her acting is great. She's funny too, in some interview she was very humourous. Leila is also one of my favorite actress too. I think both of them have the looks and Leila has the potential to be one of the top actresses. They both have this sunshine feeling and they don't look like their aging. For Ada I hope she will act more in TVB series because there was less of her shows for a few years. But she is filming "Jewels"! YAY!!!

Marianne Chan <--- Tavia Yeung

I think Marianne was an amazing actress, kind of sad that she retired so early and went onto her business. Tavia on the other hand is taking care of her crafts business and her acting together. Tavia is a great actress too because she was from the TVB acting classes. She worked her way up to her status now. I like them both onscreen, they look very natural and realistic on screen, it like you know them ... lol

Linda Chung Spotlight Part 1

Linda Chung, isn't considered as a newcomer anymore. After entering the entertainment industry for around four years her acting ability is finally being reconized. In the role of Ah Shum in Heart of Greed, Linda was able to cry in so many scenes and her acting seemed much more realistic and it showed her improvement. After four years let's take a look back at Linda Chung's days.

Linda first started off in the Vancouver's Crystal Mall Cover Girl Contest and took home two awards, the winner and the best in swimsuit awards. Then she participated in the Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant and looked liked a winner from the start. Linda already had experience in the Crystal Mall Cover Girl Contest so she had a even larger chance of winning. With her height and pretty face Linda was crowned winner of the Vancouver Chinese Pageant and also took home Miss Photogenic, Miss Snow Beauty and Miss Talent

After becoming the winner of the Vancouver Chinese Pageant, Linda was automatically entered in the Miss Chinese International Pageant. Other artists that we know now who were in the pageant with Linda are Vivien Yeo and Mandy Cho. Linda was a shining star at the finals with her hola hooping skills and her question and answer was quite good as well :D You can probably find the clip in Youtube :] With her great performance Linda took home the title of Miss Chinese International 2004 and began her path as a TVB artiste.

After winning the MCI 2004 pageant TVB signed Linda under their management, and quickly gave her the opportunity to take part in the modern day version of Virtues of Harmony; just like Bernice Liu. Her character in the show was Hung Bak Lam "Michelle". She was paired with Steven Ma in the show as a cute couple.

When VOH2 came to an end, Linda was asked to be in the cast of a high production show with Ekin Cheng and Charmaine Sheh and many more talented cast members. The show is called Always Ready, and it talked about people in the Government Flying Service. In the show Linda's father left her in the park alone and never came back for her. She is later on paired with Ekin Cheng. When filming this show there were lots of rumours that Ekin and Linda was dating and split Gigi and Ekin up. But after the show the rumors died down.

My Opinion on this year's Miss HK

Hi! I'm so forgetful xD I forgot to post my opinion on this year's Miss HK, I think their well balanced this year.
Their heights are balanced, not too tall or not too short. The tallest contestant this year is #7, Lorretta Chow. As I already mentioned she is one of my two favorites this year. She has the figure and the looks. When I saw her on the Talent Contest, I thought she was suitable to enter the Miss HK contest : ] My second favorite is #11 Kendra Wong, same thing for her too as #7. She's tall and has the looks. AND she looks kind of like Linda Chung :] one of my FAVORITE ACTRESS :]

~ hahaha finally done the Miss HK posts, now I'll probably start on a spotlight for each of my favorite tvb artist :] I think the first artist would be LINDA CHUNG YAY! I really tired and I want to get some sleep :] so I'll update soon. Remember to check back ~

She is #13, Silvia Leung. She 24 yrs old, she weighs 105 lbs and her height is 5'4". She likes reading, travelling, swimming and cooking.

She is #14, Candice Chiu. She is 24 yrs old and her height is 5'4". She weighs 111 lbs and she likes swimming, singing, travelling, musical and watching films.

She is #15, Joyce Ko. She is 22 yrs old and her height is 5'5" and she weighs 124 lbs, She likes traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, yoga, badminton and ballroom dancing.

She is # 16, Jenny Cheng. She weighs 111lbs and her height is 5'6". She is 25 yrs old. She likes singing, playing piano, dancing and learning languages.

I'm back! This is the second part. This is #3 Kayi Cheung. She's 23yrs old. And she took part in the Miss Chinese Vanouver Pageant too. Her height is 5'4" and she weighs 111lbs. She likes to snowboard and travel.She is #4 Mandy Wong, she is 24yrs old. She weighs 109lbs and is 5'4". She likes Dancing, Acting, Singing, Playing Piano, Travelling.

She is #5 Destiny Cheng. She is 21 yrs old and weighs 112lbs and is 5'5". She likes Singing, Dancing, Reading

This is #6 Anita Wong. Her height is 5'7" and she weighs 104lbs. She likes Dancing, Singing, Traveling.

She is #7. Loretta Chow. Her height is 5'9" and she weighs 124 lbs. She likes Singing, Arts and crafts.

She is #8 Janis Leung. Her height is 5'4" and she weighs 102lbs. She likes Dancing, Acting, Singing, Playing Piano, Travelling.

I think in this post the most outstanding would be #7 Loretta Chow, I was watching the Vanocouver Talent Competition and I already was thinking why she didn't participate in Miss Hong Kong.

Miss Hong Kong

Hi! My second post, the Miss Hong Kong contest is going to be held very soon. I hoped you guys viewed their profiles already : ] do you have anyfavorites ? I know I do. I will be doing a special on this year's Miss HK. I will be posting some of my thoughts on them too : ]

Her's Joey Mak, she's 19 yrs old. She height is 5'3" and she weighs 98lbs. Her hobbies are dancing, swimming, singing and acting.

#2's name is Lily Ho, she is 18 yrs old. Her height is 5'5"and she weighs 119lbs. She likes to travel, sing and dance.

Personally I think #1 and #2 is quite pretty, but they might lose out on size. Some of the other contenders are quite tall.
